JerseyCTF is an annual event and will be running for the fourth consecutive year on March 23-24, 2024.
A team of SCI students participated in an annual jeopardy-style cybersecurity competition with challenge categories including forensics, reconnaissance, web exploitation, reverse engineering, binary exploitation, and cryptography.
2021 – Placed 81st out of 1025 student teams and 172nd overall out of 1928 teams.
2020 – Placed 179th out of 1017 student teams and 293rd overall out of 1587 teams.
A team of SCI students participated in the multi-category competition with security anomaly problems, security documentation reporting, red team problems, C-Suite Panel video recording, blue team service scans, and green team website surveys all elements in scoring.
Particularly focused on the security anomaly problems and C-Suite Panel video recording, in which the team submitted a cybersecurity briefing to a mock C-Suite of the simulated critical infrastructure under attack.
